Fitness Assessments are designed to assess physical performance in adults across a wide range of age groups and ability levels. We need to assess functionality, flexibility, and movement to insure safe and injury-free resistance and endurance training. We offer a number of comprehensive and reliable test batteries for assessing physical fitness, and we choose the appropriate tests based on your goals, your current functional status, and your current condition. We have an assessment that helps us get you any outcome you want to achieve, safely and effectively. We offer assessments covering lower- and upper-body strength, aerobic endurance, lower- and upper-body flexibility, agility, range of motion, and balance. We identify strengths to build on, and areas where improvements will come quickly.
The results of the test are used in developing custom exercise programs and allow us to focus on improving your fitness with customized goals meant to improve individual abilities and capabilities. Upon completion of the tests, you will receive a report with the feedback from the tests that were performed. We will show you how you compare with others with similar attributes. Based on the test results and your goals, we'll show where we're going to focus your training, and why and how we're going to do it. The tests are repeated systematically throughout the training program, and results are compared to initial testing for evaluating progress and identifying successes, which provides education and motivation to set goals for continued activity. The assessment will take approximately 60-90 minutes.
